NetBenefit have provided a selection of third-party software that you can download and use. Please see the license included with each piece of software governing the terms of its use.

E-mail Software

If you have purchased a POP3 mailbox from NetBenefit you will require an e-mail client to use it. Download Eudora.

Eudora is a popular e-mail client due to its strong feature set. However, configuration can be a little complicated, therefore if you simply wish to be able to send and receive mail with a very user friendly interface, you should follow either of the following links to download the web browsers (if you do not already have them already). Both browsers include free e-mail software.

If you purchased a Multiple E-Mail account with NetBenefit you'll need to visit the MailMapper site.

FTP Software

In order to upload your site you will require FTP software. WS_FTP is a popular 'client'.

If you are using Windows 95, 98 or NT, the 32-bit version is preferable. Many Dial-up providers (e.g. AOL), provide software with a 16-bit winsock. The 32-bit version of WS_FTP will not work with the 16-bit winsock packages, so you may need to use the 16 bit version.

Windows 3.x users should use the 16-bit version.

Cute FTP An alternative version of FTP Software is CUTE, which is slightly more complicated than WS_FTP but is more powerful.

If you are using an Apple Mac you'll require FETCH to upload your site. This comes with the Mac, so you will already have a copy on your machine.

Other Software

	If you have a FrontPage server web space with us, you'll need a copy of FrontPage. You can download the latest evaluation version from the Microsoft Web site.
	If you have a web server with NetBenefit and are not familiar with HTML you may require a Web Editor. Try an evaluation copy of HotMetal.
	For security reasons, we don't permit TELNET access to NetBenefit web space, therefore if you wish to use PING, TRACEROUTE etc... you can download NetScan Tools. This application will enable you to carry out these tasks.
	Winzip is a popular application for 'unzipping' zip files. You can download an evaluation copy here. To purchase a license please visit WinZip's web site.
	Stuffit is a popular application for compressing and decompressing Mac files. An evaluation copy can be downloaded here. To purchase a copy please visit Aladdin System's web site.
